Building hype for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, pre-launch
Techland is a video game developer and publisher founded in 1991, and headquartered in central Poland. Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an action role-playing survival horror video game, featuring a zombie apocalyptic-themed open world.
Techland, in support of Wehype, came up with the concept of a six episode show called Dying 2 Know — showcasing gameplay and studio team interviews about the upcoming game Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Techland came to Wehype to maximize the number of viewers for this final episode before the launch of the game the following month.
Off to the movies — engaging viewers through live streams
By using Wehype’s bespoke matching algorithm, we identified the best fitting content creators, and used the platform to quickly contract, brief and monitor these creators. The campaign was executed through Wehype Boost and Co-Watch on Twitch and Integrated on YouTube. This unique combination of live streams ensured maximum reach and exposure for the final episode of Dying 2 Know.

After the launch of Dying Light 2, more than 50% of the Twitch creators that took part in the campaign continued playing and streaming the game — resulting in over 188m viewer minutes of streamed gameplay content on the channel.
